Museum site of Qorikancha

Museum has 5 rooms where is explained the history of ancestors who lived in these lands, pre-Inca, Inca and colonial pieces excavations in the mainly Koricancha. It shows the chronological evolution of civilization in Cusco. It exhibits ceramic fragments of the Inca period and samples of metallurgy, textiles, paintings, sculptures, musical instruments, etc. It also shows a model of what would have been the Qoricancha. Objects found in the excavations at the site, pottery samples, stone pieces dating from the pre-Inca and Inca period may be observed.

Hours: Monday to Saturday from 8:00 to 17:00 - Sunday 14:00 to 16:00.
