Must-see and dynamic city
Puno is a dynamic city to 3800 meters, with 125 000 inhabitants. A must in this city to get to the inevitable Lake Titicaca and its floating islands. This is the port of embarkation for the island of Taquile and the last town before visiting Bolivia. The Plaza de Armas is always lively and pedestrian path, especially at night. Make anyway phyisques attention to efforts to 3800 m altitude. Take lots of coca mate.
