Authentic village
Huayllafara is a happy community 40 families and about 200 inhabitants. Livestock and agriculture are their main activities. It is an agricultural center that represent the 12 months of the year and outline the traditional Andean agricultural instruments. Their main crops: corn, potatoes, beans, quinoa.
They live from the fruits of the earth. The people will teach the importance of agriculture, their cycles and the connection with the Pachamama (Mother Earth) and with the god.
Festivities, music and dances will be waiting for you. You can also use tools such as ancestral chaquitaclla to practice traditional techniques.
You will enjoy a typical dishes "The Haucha of Ullpu" based on the Ullpu plant that grows in the Carmen River.
